A change is coming to the intersection at South Duncan Avenue and West Stone Street in Fayetteville.
Crews are scheduled to install all-way stop signs at the intersection on Tuesday, April 13. The intersection currently only includes stop signs for east-west traffic on Stone Street.
The city’s Engineering Division has determined that creating a four-way stop at this intersection is necessary for public safety due to the volume of traffic, sight distance, and accident history, according to a news release.
Drivers using the intersection on installation day are encouraged to use caution and watch for workers.
