This weekend’s gonna be nuts.
Music kicks off at George’s at around 6 p.m. for happy hour with local legends, Earl & Them. Later on on Friday night, the venue will host country artists Frank Foster and Jed Harrelson, and there’s a metal show on Saturday with Agony Incorporated, Makeshift, Fall Child and Endfall. On Sunday, there’s a crawfish boil with Crawdaddy and TVBOO.
Speaking of crawfish, Theo’s will also host a Crawfish Boil this weekend. Theirs is on Sunday in the parking lot outside the restaurant, and they’ve partnered with local brewery Fossil Cove to provide the craft brews for the party. Here’s more on that.
Remember that Brother Moses show that was supposed to happen a few weeks ago? It has been rescheduled for Friday night at Prairie Street Live. More info is here.
Fayetteville Roots Fest has a few big shows this weekend on the street next to their building on the square, including a performance by Sierra Hull Band on Friday night, and two John Fullbright shows scheduled for Saturday and Sunday night. All of these are sold out, so hopefully you already have your tickets.
Walton Arts Center has a few Artosphere-related events happening around town, including film screenings in Fayetteville on Saturday and Sunday, and Art Heist performances in Rogers all weekend. They also have a ‘In the Atrium’ performance on Friday night with bluegrass band, The Crumbs.
TheatreSquared’s new show ‘At the Wedding’ will continue at their run at the new theatre. You can read our preview of the show here.
Mt. Sequoyah has local storytellers That’s What She Said on Friday night at their cottage circle gazebo stage, followed by SoNA Voices: Music for Oboe and Strings on Saturday night.
On Sunday, Bike NWA will host a Slow Streets Neighborhood Day event off of Razorback Road in front of Lewis Plaza. The event will include Second Hand Smoke BBQ, local musicians, play therapists, and more. For more info on Slow Streets, visit this website.
That’s a lot, and that’s not all of it. There’s more below. Have a great weekend, everyone.
