Prairie Street Live will host a mini-festival featuring sets by a cast of all female DJs on Saturday, June 5 at 509 W Prairie St, Fayetteville.
Organizers say the show, called Her Set Her Sound, was created to support women in the entertainment industry and the socially and economically disadvantaged. They aim to increase a sense of belonging for those a part of underrepresented communities, amplify awareness of tenacious women in music and the community, and empower dreamers to live purposefully.
Gates open at 4 p. m. and the show starts at 4:45 p.m.
Her Set Her Sound covers genres from house to hip-hop to turbo & bass. In addition to the music, there will be giveaways from local businesses and more as part of the festival’s activities.
Masks are encouraged when roaming the venue unless guests are actively consuming food or drink.
