The Fayetteville Fire Department will host the Annual Crawfish Boil on June 19 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Prarie Street Live.
The boil will include the usual crawfish, corn on the cob, potatoes, and more.
The proceeds from the tickets will go towards a scholarship fund created for the children of Fayetteville Firefighters. Tee-shirts will be sold at the event, and the proceeds from that will be split between Camp Sunshine, a summer camp for kids with life-threatening illnesses, and the Special Olympics.
In addition to the crawfish boil, attendees can also talk with a firefighter and check out the firetrucks at the event.
Those interested in attending the event can pre-order crawfish at www.eventbrite.com.
