Music-wise, local legends The Cate Brothers will help kick off the weekend with a happy hour performance at George’s Majestic Lounge. Later on, Little Rock band Khaki Onion will perform, and on Saturday, local rocker Jon Dooley will take the state for an early show on Saturday at 1 p.m. On Saturday night, the venue will host Bentonville-based band, Cousin Smitty.
Walton Arts Center is back in action this weekend as well with a Starlight Jazz series show featuring high-energy, horn-driven band, Huntertones. Here’s ticket info.
Remember that Tail Gate Pup-Up benefit for local big dog rescue Big Paws of the Ozarks we told y’all about earlier this week? That’s happening Friday night at Maxine’s / The Graduate / on the corner of the old Ozarks Cleaners building. Here’s a bit more info.
Prairie Street Live on Saturday will host a ‘Concert Against Cancer‘ benefit for a local resident battling the disease. The event will include performances by Ley Lines (Alt/Indie Rock)
