Happy hour starts at 6 p.m. at George’s, and they’ll host local favs, Uncrowned Kings for their Friday after-work tradition this week. Also on the marque at George’s this weekend is 90s tribute The Mixtapes on Friday night, a Prince Tribute on Saturday, and Sunday night, Nate Hancock and the Declaration will perform. Prairie Street Live will host an outdoor show this weekend as well (might need to bundle up a little) with Black Mountain Fever and Jake Keegan band on Friday night. It starts at 6 p.m.
Up on Mount Sequoyah, there’s an cool show with longtime musician Kevin Blagg and composer Amos Cochran’s new project, Air Structures, along with some experimental tunes by Sam King’s latest project, Untight. It’s in Clapp Auditorium, and the show starts around 7 p.m. Tickets are here.

Fayeteville Public Library will host a panel discussion called Being trans and gender nonconforming in Arkansas at 2 p.m. on Saturday. The panel is presented in partnership with the University of Arkansas Multicultural Center. Here’s more.
