For years, we’ve heard talk of the possibility of having major concerts at Razorback Stadium. This spring, that talk will finally be put into action.
University of Arkansas officials on Tuesday announced that country mega-star Garth Brooks will perform at the home of the Hogs at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 23, 2022.
It will be the artist’s first time to perform in Arkansas in seven years. It’s also the first major music show available to the public at Razorback Stadium that we can remember, ever. (Walmart has used the venue for shareholders meeting concerts in the past).
You don’t need us to tell you who Garth Brooks is. He is one of the best selling musical artists of all time, with more than 170 million albums sold in his career. He’s the best selling solo artist of all time. He sang at the latest presidential inauguration. He’s pretty famous.
The show is part of a tour of stadiums planned in 2022.
Tickets are $94.95, and go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 3.
