The Northwest Arkansas Council will host two large-scale vaccination clinics this week in Fayetteville and Lowell.
Vaccines are free at both events. Insurance and identification are not required to receive a vaccine, according to a news release.
Fayetteville
The first will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 22 at St. James Missionary Baptist Church’s Squire Jehegan Outreach Center, located at 115 S. Willow Ave. in Fayetteville. There are two time slots available: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. The event is in partnership with the NWA Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Council. First, second and booster doses of the COVID-19 vaccine will be available for ages 5 and up. Walk-ins are welcome.
Lowell
The second clinic is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 25 at the J.B. Hunt Corporate Headquarters’ Building C, located at 708 W. Apple Blossom Ave. in Lowell. First, second and booster doses will be available for ages 5 and up. Registration is encouraged, but is not required (register here).
UPDATE 2/23/22: The Feb. 25 clinic in Lowell has been cancelled due to the winter storm that hit the area on Wednesday. All appointment times will be honored at next week’s clinic on Friday, March 4.
