It’s Friday, and you all know what that means, right? Let us know, because we’re not 100% sure.
We have a few ideas, however. It means happy hour at George’s, no doubt. This week, locals Earl & Them will get everyone’s booties shaking to kick things off for the weekend after work. Later on, there’s a country show with Hayefield and Matt Williams Band on the big stage.
Friday also means the Arkansas baseball team will kick off a new three-game weekend series versus Southeastern. First pitch for Friday’s matchup is set for 3 p.m.
Songwriter Darrell Scott is back in town for a performance at Walton Arts Center on Friday night. Hopefully you got your tickets for this one already, because it’s sold out.

Up in Benton County, The Momentary has a cool show on Friday night featuring moody, psychedelic-folk act, Grouper, the solo project by Oregon-based artist, Liz Harris. Check out some of her music here.
There’s a big show at JJ’s Live on Saturday night with Jimmy Eat World and Dashboard Confessional. Last we heard, this one was close to selling out. If there are tickets to be had, here’s where to get them.
Smoke & Barrel also has music this weekend, with a dance party featuring Bass Barrell, Syca, Losha, and Jade Shae on Saturday night.
