I’m sure a few of y’all are exhausted today after the Hogs got us all pumped up last night. None of us could really sleep after that, right? Anyway, that’s why they invented naps/coffee/Monster energy drinks.
It’s still spring break, which typically means the lines are a bit shorter at the bars over the next few days. Enjoy it while it lasts.
Happy hour starts at 6 p.m. at George’s, and they’ve got Buddy Shute & the Motivators this time. Later on, Rochelle Bradshaw & Hypnotion and Rachel Ammons will perform. On Saturday night, they’ve got a Grateful Dead tribute with Forgotten Space, and on Sunday night, there’s a three band bill with some good local rockers in Bones of the Earth, Mudlong, and TV Preacher.
Smoke and Barrel has been having some music again, and they’ve got Springfield, Missouri-based jammers, Jalopy on Friday night.
There’s a huge show at Walton Arts Center this weekend with the touring production on Hamilton on their stage Friday-Sunday. Here’s a schedule of performances.
TheatreSquared’s Tiger Style! is playing at their facility on West Avenue. The comedy has been a hit, and was recently extended due to its success. Here’s ticket info.
The folks from Idle Class Magazine will host their first Black Apple Awards honoring local artists and makers on Friday night at CACHE (in the old Arts Center of the Ozarks building in Springdale). Congrats to all this year’s nominees.
In sports, the Razorback baseball team is away this weekend versus Missouri, and the Razorback basketball team is taking on the Duke Blue Devils for a chance to make the Final Four on Saturday night. Looks like the game tips off at 7:49 p.m.
