It’s going to be another busy weekend in Fayetteville. You’re going to need your dancing shoes again. Actually, make it boots. Dancing boots.
Country superstar Garth Brooks is in town to perform for 70,000 or so mammer jammers at Razorback Stadium on Saturday night. It was completely sold out, but the UA released a few more tickets this week, plus we’ve seen several for sale online if you’re still looking.
Also in big shows, the Walmart AMP will open their 2022 season with performances by Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Robert Earl Keen, and Devon Gilfillian on Friday night. The AMP is going cashless this year. Here’s more about that, plus some other changes at the venue.
George’s will kick off their weekend with a happy hours show by Full House, followed by songwriter Paul Cauthen on Friday night, and Los Angeles rock band Badflower on Saturday night. Ticket deets are here.
JJ’s Live has a show this weekend as well with New Orleans rock band The Revivalists performing with country artist Maggie Rose on Friday night. Here’s ticket info.
Smoke & Barrel Tavern has some cool local shows this weekend, including Formals, Fight Dream, and Bootleg Royale on Friday night, and Recognizer and Witchsister on Saturday.
There’s a fun show on Sunday night as well, with Fayetteville Roots Festival presenting festival vets The Steel Wheels in the new performing arts hall inside Fayetteville Public Library. Here’s ticket info.
How about a local art and craft show? The folks from Cattywampus Coop will host their Cattywampus Spring Bizarre craft show at Mount Sequoyah Center on Saturday. Here’s a bit more info.
Folks are raving about TheatreSquared’s new show The Elaborate Entrance of Chad Deity, playing this weekend at T2. Here’s ticket info for that one.
There’s a mini metal festival at Prairie Street Live on Saturday starting at 4 p.m., and there are big US Pro Cup mountian bike races at Centennial Park.
