A new pottery festival featuring work by dozens of artists will debut in Fayetteville this weekend.
The Arkansas Pottery Festival is set for Friday, May 6 through Sunday, May 8 at Community Creative Center, located at 505 W. Spring Street in Fayetteville.
The festival will include demos, lectures, and over 50 exhibiting potters with a flower pot and plant sale, booths, exhibitions, lectures, and more.
The event will include a guest lecture by Cane Hill Museum Director of Arts and Curator Lawrence McElroy, and pottery demonstrations and a lecture from artist in residents Bill Jones, officials said.
The festival will be open on Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m., and on Sunday from 1-4 p.m.
