The 4th of July is Monday, and we all know what that means, right? Yep. Hot dogs.
It also means there are fireworks shows around the region this weekend. Here’s our annual list of those.
It’s a good weekend for music. Local rockers The Odds will kick things off at George’s, followed by local singer/songwriter/yodeler Nick Shoulders performing the late night show. Oklahoma country act The Damn Quails will perform on Saturday night with Austin-based act, Ellis Bullard.
Speaking of county music, Willie Nelson’s Outlaw Music Festival is happening on Friday night at the Walmart AMP. The tour features Willie, along with The Brothers Osbourne and Steve Earle. Here’s ticket info.
Smoke & Barrel Tavern has music this weekend as well, with locals synth-pop act Modeling performing with Chicago-based band Co-Stanza and Little Rockers, Turquoise Tigers.
Kingfish also has a big show this weekend with funky, soulful act, Kris Lager Band on Friday night. They also have local country tribute Gone Country on Saturday.
T2’s hit show Miss You Like Hell continues with several performances scheduled through this weekend, and their new show Flex is now playing. Here’s ticket info.
There’s also dance, yoga, and art on Mount Sequoyah all weekend as part of the Fayetteville Movement Festival. Here’s more about that.
