There’s a St. Patrick’s Day Pub Crawl on Dickson Street on Friday night. The event starts at Ryleigh’s, where you can pick up a passport listing the participating watering holes. From there, just visit the dozen or so places, get a stamp, and return it to Ryleigh’s at the end of the night to pick up your commemorative t-shirt. Here’s more info.

George’s will host a weekend of local tunes with blues act Brick Fields kicking things off for happy hour, followed by Green Acres and The Cole Birmingham band closing out the night. On Saturday, they’ll host local psychedelic funk band, Deep Sequence.
Also in tunes, Nomad’s Trailside has a four-band bill on Friday night with Fight Dream, Mildenhall, TownHouseFire and Bo Yellis and Smoke & Barrel has a rock show on Saturday night with Mr. Softheart, Gardensnakes, and Idle Valley.
In sports, Arkansas baseball opens SEC play with a weekend series versus Auburn this weekend. Hogs are rolling. Let’s keep that going.
Arkansas’ men’s basketball team is in the big dance this weekend, and they’ll take on Kansas on Saturday at 4:15 p.m. The women’s team defeated Louisiana Tech in the first round of the WNIT, but their second game isn’t until Monday.
