On Saturday, former Fayetteville resident Sean Chapman (Jesus Lee Jones, Nancy) has a new band called Subatlantic, and they’ll play with reunited Breathing Water. There’s another rock show on Sunday with Always Tired, Nightosphere, Colour Design, Chronowizard and Crush.
Also in local tunes, Vintage Pistol is back in action in the backyard at Kingfish on Saturday night.
In performances, it’s the last weekend to catch Violet, the musical playing at TheatreSquared the last few weeks. The final performance is on Sunday. Here’s the schedule.
Up north, there’s a big show at the Railyard Park in Rogers with Arkansauce, Chucky Waggs, and Ashtyn Barbaree on Friday night.
Little Rock rapper Big Piph is back in town as well, and will play Crystal Bridges Forest Concert Series at 7 p.m. on Saturday.
