ReWired Fest esports, tech, and gaming festival set for Oct. 6-7 at Bud Walton Arena

A free festival featuring video game tournaments, virtual reality, a tailgate party, and more is coming to Fayetteville this weekend.

The event, called ReWired Festival, is set for Oct. 6-7 at Bud Walton Arena, located at 1270 Nolan Richardson Dr. on the University of Arkansas campus in Fayetteville.

The event will kick off at noon on Friday with open tournament play on the main stage and a greek life tournament in the Samsung Booth.

Also on Friday is a Creator Connect event featuring some top gamers and influencers working today, including the cast of Dude Perfect, along with Danny Duncan, Typical Gamer, Justin Flom, and Jon Youshaei.

The Saturday event will culminate with a Mario Kart showdown featuring University of Arkansas basketball players Devo Davis and Trevon Brazile.

The event will also include several giveaways, free samples, live music, a beer garden, flight simulators, and more. It is free to attend and open to the public.
