Laser light show, silent disco set for Friday in the Ramble

A new event featuring a laser light show and a “silent disco” is coming to the Lower Ramble this week.

The event, called Phantasma in the Ramble, is being produced by the city of Fayetteville in partnership with the new Downtown Fayetteville Coalition.

Participants are encouraged to sign up for a one-hour time slot between 6 and 10 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 20 to visit the installation. From there, they can enjoy the light show, and three DJs will be providing music available to attendees to access via their own headphones. Dancing is encouraged.

Parking is available nearby at the Fayetteville Public Library.

The event is free to attend and open to the public. Organizers are encouraging families with children to sign up for the 6-7 p.m. time slot, as “The later slots we expect to be more for the grown-ups.”
