A Fayetteville-based record label will highlight a talented group of local and regional musicians at a two-day holiday showcase event coming up in Fayetteville next weekend.
Gar Hole Records will host its annual Gar Hole-iday Winter Showcase on Dec. 8-9 at George’s Majestic Lounge.
This year’s event will include performances by several artists from the label’s lineup, including Fayetteville artists Nick Shoulders and the Okay Crawdad, Dylan Earl, and Bonnie Montgomery, along with The Deslondes, Sabine McCalla, Esther Rose, Chris Acker, Two Runner, and Maddy Kirgo.
The event will take place over two nights, with The Deslondes, Dylan Earl, Sabine McCalla, and Two Runner set to perform on Friday, Dec. 8.
On Saturday night, Fayetteville artist Nick Shoulders and his band, the Okay Crawdad will headline, along with Esther Rose, Chris Acker, Bonnie Montgomery, and Maddy Kirgo.
In addition to the music this year, a commemorative beer crafted with Arkansas-grown wheat created through a collaboration between Little Rock-based Lost Forty Brewing and Tulsa-based American Solera will be sold at the party and around town soon. Can artwork for the beer, called Bayou Hazard, was created by Shoulders.
Tickets to the showcase are $45 for a two-day pass, $25 for a Friday night ticket, or $30 for a Saturday night ticket.
