Flyer Guide: Holiday art and craft events in Fayetteville

If you’re looking for a little something to get for a little someone, and you’d like to support some local artists and crafters while you’re at it, there are several chances to do just that coming up in Fayetteville.

Over the next few weeks, there are several local arts and craft markets, art sales, and bazaars planned around town, featuring talented artists and makers selling their paintings, pottery, jewelry, home decor, and more.

Below is a list of all the local holiday arts and craft markets we could find.

The Mitzvah Holiday Gift Market

When: Friday, Dec. 1, 5-9 p.m.
Where: Fayetteville Square
What: A holiday gift market with 50+ local artists, live jazz trio, holiday-themed beverages, and more

What: A holiday market featuring locally-made items from Fayetteville Farmers’ Market vendors

Holiday Haul Shopping Event

When: Friday, Dec. 8
Where: Downtown Fayetteville
What: A holiday shopping event supporting woman-owned businesses around the Fayetteville square. The first 100 registered attendees get a free beverage from Maxine’s or Big Box, and the first 100 arrivals get a free shopping bag.

The Pop-Out at Gar Hole Records

When: Saturday, Dec. 9, noon until 5 p.m.
Where: Gar Hole Records (546 W. Center St.)
What: Vendor market featuring vintage, art, clothing, ceramics, jewelry, and other items, along with music, food by Bottle Rocket Subs and Buxton’s Heady Smoke, and more. Part of the Gar Hole-idays Winter Showcase Dec. 8-9.
