The Symphony of Northwest Arkansas (SoNA) is set to ring in the holidays with two shows this month.

The local symphony orchestra will perform their annual Christmas shows, including two performances of their holiday concert along with the return of their family-oriented show The Snowman on Dec. 9-10 this weekend.

A Very SoNA Christmas will include a mix of holiday classics along with new works “celebrating the magic and beauty of Christmas,” featuring guest soloists, the SoNA singers, and local collegiate choruses.

Two performances of A Very SoNA Christmas are scheduled, at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 9.

SoNA will perform a live score of the classic holiday film The Snowman at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 10. For those who aren’t familiar, the film is an animated film based on Raymond Briggs’ 1978 picture book of the same name.

Tickets for A Very SoNA Christmas range from $12-$61. Tickets to The Snowman are just $10.
