The Kansas City Royals will play an exhibition game against their Double-A affiliate, the Northwest Arkansas Naturals, at Arvest Ballpark in Springdale this year.

The game will take place on Monday, March 25, the team announced today. The first pitch is set for 6:05 p.m.

“We are thrilled to announce that we will be hosting the Kansas City Royals at Arvest Ballpark in 2024,” said Naturals General Manager Justin Cole. “The Royals have been tremendous partners over the years, and we could not be more excited to welcome our Major League affiliate to Springdale in just over two months.”

The Naturals have been affiliated with the Royals since 2008, following their relocation from Wichita. The program has since contributed 101 players to the Royals, including members of the 2015 World Series Championship team.

The Royals had planned to play a similar exhibition game at Arvest Ballpark in 2021, but that event was cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Ticket sales for the exhibition game will begin for 2024 ticket package holders today through Monday. General public sales will start at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 22, with prices ranging from $16-$25.
