Goodwill to host grand re-opening of expanded Fayetteville store

Goodwill Industries of Arkansas will host a ceremony at 8:45 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 15 to celebrate the re-opening of its newly expanded store in Fayetteville.

Located at 705 E. Appleby Road, the store includes an expanded parking lot and a wider selection of clothing, shoes, handbags, accessories, housewares, books, linens, games, athletic equipment, and furniture, according to a news release.

In addition to a traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony, the event will also feature speakers from Goodwill Industries of Arkansas and a tour of the store and donation center.

Aside from a store, the location also offers career services such as career assessment, counseling, and coaching. Goodwill staff will be on hand to help individuals with interview preparation, job search, resume assistance, and more. The organization will also offer re-entry services to assist those transitioning out of prison.

The grand opening ceremony is free and open to all, and refreshments will be served. The store will open for regular business after the ceremony at around 9 a.m.
