Lineup announced for downtown Springdale concert series

The Downtown Springdale Alliance has announced the lineup for the upcoming LIVE! at Turnbow concert series, which features free concerts on the last Thursday of every month from April through September at Turnbow Park.

The series begins with headliners MEZCLAVE on April 25. The night’s opener will be Los Veleros. On May 30, Shannon Wurst Band will take the stage, followed by Taylor Smith.

The third concert of the season is headlined by MARK Harmony on June 27. The opening act of that show will be WAIPA Dancers. On July 25, Brick Fields will headline, followed by March to August.

The Aug. 29 concert features The Sons of Otis Malone, followed by a performance by Shiloh Old Time Pickers. The season concludes on Sept. 28 with Funk Factory Goes to Church and Arkansas Gospel Chorale.

The alliance will also host several other events this year, including bike races, art walks, a street dinner, a butterfly festival, a hot cocoa crawl and more.
