Washington County Master Gardeners to host Garden Gate Tour June 8

A group of gardening enthusiasts will host a self-guided tour of some great local gardens around the region next month.

Washington County Master Gardeners will host their annual Garden Gate tour of local gardens on Saturday, June 8 this year.

This year’s tour will include three privately-owned gardens in Springdale, one in Huntsville, along with a tour of Botanical Garden of the Ozarks in Fayetteville.

The tour will highlight native and pollinator plants, backyard vegetable gardening, water features, and creative outdoor spaces, officials said.

In addition, the NWA Master Naturalists will be selling native plants at the Huntsville garden location.

Each garden will also feature a “Growing Good Gardeners” education station staffed by representatives from a local nonprofit organization.

Gardens in this year’s tour include:
Our Rich Polyculture Garden – 7965 Buena Sera Street, Springdale, AR
Ricardo and Nathan’s Garden – 411 Janet Street, Springdale, AR
The Gardening Robinettes 3.0, 105 Walnut Grove Ave, Springdale, AR
Botanical Garden of the Ozarks, 4703 N. Crossover Road, Fayetteville, AR
Neighborly Natives, 377 Madison 7340, Huntsville, AR

Tickets to this year’s tour are $15, and are available here. Admission to the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks on Saturday is included in the cost of the tour.

The tour will be open from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Attendees can start at any garden, and visit in any order. A map including all five locations is available here.
