Fayetteville schools to offer free lunch program to children June 3 – Aug. 9

Fayetteville Public Schools will offer free lunch to children 18 years and younger this summer.

The district will serve lunch weekdays from June 3 – Aug. 9, with the exception of June 19 and July 1 – 5.

Meals will be served at John L. Colbert Middle School, located at 888 South Rupple Rd, from 10:45 p.m. until 1 p.m. each weekday.

Meals will also served at American Legion (1195 Curtis Ave) weekdays from 11-11:30 a.m., at Yvonne Richardson Center (240 E Rock Street) from 12-12:30 p.m., and at St. James Missionary Baptist Church (764 W North Street) from 1-1:30 p.m.

The meals are free for anyone 18 years old and younger. Non Fayetteville residents are welcome to attend.

No application is needed for participation in the program. Adults may also purchase meals during for $3.60.
