Country Music Hall of Famer Alan Jackson is set to perform at Bud Walton Arena this fall in what will be only the second public concert in the 32-year history of the facility.

Jackson will bring his “Last Call: One More For The Road” tour to the arena in Fayetteville on Saturday, Sept. 28.

Bud Walton Arena hosted a public concert event in 2022 when the university’s Springtime of Youth festival was moved from the Washington County Fairgrounds to the arena due to the threat of inclement weather. The facility has also hosted many other private concerts through the years as part of the Walmart Shareholder’s Meetings.

General public ticket sales will begin on Friday, June 7, while pre-sale tickets will be available for University of Arkansas supporters, faculty, staff, and students on June 4.

To purchase tickets, visit University of Arkansas affiliates and Razorback Foundation members will receive an email with presale access information.

The Fayetteville announcement is one of 10 new cities added to Jackson’s tour, which will give fans one final chance to catch him live.

Jackson continues to live with Charcot-Marie-Tooth (CMT), a chronic neuropathy condition he first revealed in 2021.

“I’ve been touring for over 30 years – my daughters are all grown, we have one grandchild and one on the way…and I’m enjoying spending more time at home,” Jackson said. “But my fans always show up to have a good time, and I’m going to give them the best show I can.”
