It’s the First Thursday of the month, and in Fayetteville, that means it’s time for a monthly outdoor festival on the Fayetteville square.

Last month’s event was cancelled due to rainy weather, but it’s looking like clear skies tonight (June 6) for the first First Thursday of 2024.

This month’s event includes live music by local bands  Fight Dream and 1oz Jig, along with a preview of the “Fashion Fit for Queen” concert and fashion show by Big Sister Studio coming up later this month.

In addition to the music, there will be a new art installation by local crochet artist, Gina Gallina, a puppet parade by Art Experience, an arts market featuring more than 40 independent artists, and other festivities.

Local brewery Social Project Brewing Co is the featured Ale Trail brewery for the month, and they’ll be serving up beers at Town Center Plaza.

The theme for this month’s event is Avant Garden, “a celebration of all things green and blooming, where art meets nature with innovative art, music, and fashion.”

The event will take place from 5:30 p.m.- 9 p.m.
