Singer Andrew Igbokidi to play Gulley Park Concert Series Thursday

The Gulley Park concert series continues this week with a performance by singer Andrew Igbokidi.

The artist, known for his performances on NBC’s The Voice in 2022, will perform a free show at the park gazebo on Thursday, June 20.

From his bio:

Andrew Igbokidi is on the shortlist of singers to turn all four chairs on NBC’s The Voice. Working with superstar Camila Cabelo, Andrew, the son of Nigerian immigrants, built a following with his unique vocal style that Billboard described as “gorgeous,” “effortless,” and “soaring.”

For those unfamiliar, the concert series is organized by the city’s Parks, Natural Resources and Cultural Affairs department, and features free outdoor live music with plenty of room for picnic blankets and lawn chairs throughout the fields surrounding the gazebo stage at Gulley Park in east Fayetteville.

The music starts at 7 p.m., and the concerts are free and open to the public. Coolers are welcome for those who’d like to pack snacks or dinner, but food vendors are also usually set up around the park.
