There is no buried treasure at Flyer Homes’ new listing. It’s actually just floating right there off the bank

People of the world, feast your eyes on 20835 Lakeshore Dr. in Springdale!

Best I can tell from the Corps of Engineers website, there are a little over 5,000 boat slips available on all of Beaver Lake. Owning just one of those slips would be better than, say, a handful of Spanish doubloons. But owning TWO slips? I dunno … how many of those scepters have you got?

The two-slip boat garage comes fully-enclosed, so you can more safely store your fishing gear, water skis, all of your favorite lake toys. And one of those two slips is actually already filled for you, as the pontoon boat currently parked in it conveys with the sale of the property.

But that dock isn’t the only treasure. The over half an acre lakefront parcel is dotted with fruit trees planted by the owner. Peach, apple, cherry, even pomegranates. You’ll also find strawberries sprouting amidst the many perennials the owners planted over the years.

And it’s hard to believe you can live this full-on lake life while being so close to town. Sitting out on the back deck watching the wildlife or gazing at the lake, you’d never suspect that daily essentials, restaurants, coffee shops, schools, even downtown Springdale, are all a mere 10-15 minute drive from your home.

Speaking of home, your new boat dock does also come with one of those. A three bed, two and a half bath ranch house with some huge living areas and a fantastic sunroom. The sunroom will be your home away from bugs and your 270? window to the natural surroundings, including gorgeous year-round lake views. And even bigger second living room might make for a great game room.

A kitchen remodel was completed a few years back, with new leathered granite counters and stainless appliances, including the refrigerator which conveys (as does the washer and dryer, by the way). The kitchen opens up to the main living room and dining area, which can all be kept warm in winter by the wood-burning stove.

A new life, filled with easy weekends on the lake, mornings reeling in large-mouth bass from your jon boat, a quick paddle board or kayak after a long day at work … It’s actually all starting to sound like a treasure to me. Call Jay Downing at 479-601-5453, I’ll come out and unlock the chest for you.
