The Arkansas Cinema Society has partnered with the city’s Parks, Natural Resources, and Cultural Affairs Department to host a film screening at Bryce Davis Park this weekend.

The organization will show the 1988 animated film The Land Before Time at the park on Friday, July 12.

From the description of the film:

In this animated classic, an orphaned brontosaurus named Littlefoot embarks on a journey to find the legendary Great Valley—a lush oasis where dinosaurs can thrive and live in peace. Along the way, he befriends other young dinosaurs, faces obstacles, and learns valuable lessons about teamwork and survival.

The screening is the second in a series of four film screenings planned in Fayetteville parks this summer. The series will continue on Aug. 9 with a screening of “Back to the Future,” also in Bryce Davis Park.

The park is located at 1595 Dartmouth Ave. in Fayetteville.

The movie is set to begin at 8 p.m. The event is free to attend and open to the public.
