The annual Charlie Brown used book sale to benefit the Fayetteville Animal Shelter runs Tuesday through Thursday at Vandergriff Elementary School.
According to the FPS Community Blog, students have collected 11,000 adult and children’s books.

Books are 50 cents each except adult hardback books, which are $1.
A post on the sale’s Facebook page notes that last year’s event raised an all-time high donation of $3,500 for the animal shelter.
The sale takes place inside the school’s cafeteria at the following times:
Tuesday, May 17 – 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Wednesday, May 18 – 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Thursday, May 19 – 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Vandergriff Elementary is located at 2975 E. Township Street in Fayetteville.
