Wednesday To-do: Aug. 3

LA-based AWOLNATION is in town tonight. The group, fronted by Aaron Bruno (Influence of Giants), is right in the middle of a two-month tour across the country.

Touring in this heat sounds awful. However, with the chart listings and reviews their debut album “Megalithic Symphony” has been getting lately, AWOLNATION might not be traveling in a tiny van and sleeping on the linoleum kitchen floors of their biggest fans. And if they are, it likely won’t last too much longer.

The band has been selling out shows left and right. Tonight’s show at George’s Majestic Lounge looks to be no exception. The ticket listing for this evening’s performance has been updated to include that familiar orange flame indicating the show is almost sold out.

There’s a video below if you’re unfamiliar (we were). Tickets are $12. Show starts at around 8:30 p.m.

Happy Birthday
