If you’re looking for the daily to-do post, look no further. You’ve found it.
Since adding public meetings, birthdays and the occasional bit of news in the opening, the to-do post has grown beyond the Arts & Events boundary to become more of a daily bulletin rather than just a list of things to do.
We’ll be tinkering around with some new features this week (see Local Links below), but fear not. All the to-do goodness will remain intact.

The Fayetteville School District plans to build eight tennis courts next to Asbell Elementary School. The courts, built to replace those lost in the renovation of Fayetteville High School, will be available to the public when not in use by the schools. (NWAOnline)
The Fayetteville Farmers’ Market was one of 12 markets in the country to be recognized by the Farmers’ Market Coalition “for their innovation and demonstrated success in serving farmers, consumers, and communities.” (Farmers Market Coalition)

Metal show at Rogue
Don’t let tonight’s short list fool you. Fayetteville is about to blow up. The weather is cooling off, the students are trickling in, and if you listen closely, you can hear the county fair trucks headed our way. Fall in Fayetteville rules.
If you’re looking for some fun tonight, there’s a metal show at Rogue and a couple of singer/songwriters playing around town.
Other than that, you’re on your own. Find a patio or something.
