2012 St. Patrick’s Day Pub Crawl scheduled for Saturday on Dickson Street

St. Patrick’s Day Pub Crawl t-shirt design

Of all the holidays we celebrate here on earth, there are few commemorated with less pretense than good old St. Patrick’s Day.

Wear green. Kiss Irish people. Crawl (or walk, whatever) from pub to pub on Dickson Street consuming green Guinness. It’s pretty low key, really.

We’re actually not sure if that’s how they do it in Ireland (do they even have a Dickson Street?), but that’s how it’ll happen at the eighth annual St. Patrick’s Day Pub Crawl on Saturday, March 17.

The “crawl” starts at 5:30 p.m. at Common Grounds where would-be-crawlers will be given a passport listing participating watering holes.

From there, you’re on your own to visit all of the businesses on the list, and get a stamp from the bartender.

The first 300 people to visit all the participating bars and fill up their card with stamps (and no, you don’t have to drink to participate) will get a free St Patrick’s Day Pub Crawl t-shirt.
