A crew with the city’s Transportation Division works Monday to install one of many new bike racks around the downtown square.

A crew began installing new bike racks around the Fayetteville square on Monday as part of a project that aims to add 50-70 racks to the downtown/Dickson Street area.

The Fayetteville Advertising and Promotion Commission on Monday chose Hannah Withers and Bobby Ferrell to replace two outgoing commissioners.

The Lake Fayetteville Watershed Partnership will hold its annual Lake Fayetteville cleanup on Saturday, April 13. Volunteers are needed to help with the work.
