Kory Montgomery
After spending the last several months touring the country, local bluesman Kory Montgomery will be back in Fayetteville for his first hometown performance since January Friday night at George’s. Local band Groovement and songwriter Shawn James are also on the bill. Admission is $6.
In rock news, local punk band Thunderlizards are back in action at Smoke & Barrel Tavern with fellow Fayettevillians Resin Hands set to open the show. Admission is $3.

Austin band Idyl is in town for a show at Nightbird Books Friday night with new-ish Fayetteville band Minivan and Brian Abel’s (Fauxnz) Tape Experiment. Admission is $5.
There’s a big all-ages show at Showcase Theatre with six bands, including Crown the Empire, Capture the Crown, Palisades, Heartist, Famous Last Words, and Wolves at the Gate. Admission is $12.
