Friday events, Nov. 8
Eddie Love, lead singer of A Good Fight, will play his last show with the band Friday night at George’s. Locals Chasing Pictures and Surf De Soliel are also on the bill. Admission is $7 at the door.
The Razorback men’s basketball team opens the season Friday night versus SIU-Edwardsville at Bud Walton Arena. The Hogs looked pretty good in their first two exhibition games, but we, like Mike Anderson, are looking forward to seeing what the Hogs can do “when the popcorn’s poppin.'”.
There’s a whisky tasting at Walton Arts Center Friday night, featuring Gregor Cattanach, National Master of Scotch Whisky and Keeper of the Quaich. It’s called The Evolution of Whisky. Here’s more info.
