A boutique that has been operating on Dickson Street for nearly 20 years will close its doors next month.
Something Urban, the store focused on women’s clothing, accessories, pet items, and more that has been located at a handful of locations on Dickson Street over the years, announced plans to close at the end of January on social media over the weekend.
From the announcement:
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the closing of Something Urban at the end of January. We have cherished the last 20 years on Dickson, but it is time for us to move on. We hope you all will come to see us one more time!
The store is the second retailer on the block to announce plans to close this month. Blackboard Grocery, the bodega just across the street from Something Urban, announced plans to close on Dec. 20.
Something Urban is located at 643 W. Dickson Street.
Remaining inventory at the store is being offered at half-price, the store also announced.
