A new New York-style pizza restaurant is coming soon to Dickson Street.
A sign recently appeared for Tony’s NY Style Pizza on the building formerly home to Taco Bell Cantina at 412 W. Dickson Street.
According to the sign, the restaurant will serve pizza by the slice, salads, along with beer and cocktails to wash it down.
The sign also indicates the restaurant will be locally owned and operated.
Paper is covering the windows on the restaurant, and it looks like some renovations are underway.
We found a website for the business, and have reached out for more information. We’ll add that here once we hear back from them.
We heard from Zach Jacobs, one of the owners, who said he and his family will operate the new restaurant. The pizza will be made from locally-sourced ingredients, he said, and the beer menu will focus on plenty of Arkansas-made craft beer.
If all goes well, Jacobs said he hopes to be up and running sometime in June.
