Want to walk around tasting some good food for a great cause?

You’ll get a chance at the annual Savor the Flavor event, set for 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 3 on Dickson Street in Fayetteville.

The event is a walking tasting tour of several restaurants in the Dickson Street area. There are 10 restaurants in the lineup this year, including Bordinos, Marley’s Pizzeria, Sauced, Rolando’s
Dirty Apron Bakehouse, Arsaga’s, and several others.

Tickets to the event are $45 per person, and proceeds benefit Faith in Action, and organization that provides free non-medical services to homebound seniors such as transportation to appointments and grocery store, friendly visits, telephone reassurance, assistance with yard work, and other services. Since the event began 16 years ago, Savor the Flavor has raised more than $750,000 for the cause.

There’s also a Bentonville event planned for Thursday, Sept. 19 this year.
