POSTPONED: ‘Drive-in concert’ set for June 6 on Mount Sequoyah

Update: This event has been postponed. From the organizers: “In solidarity with those who are mourning and demonstrating in response to the recent deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and Ahmaud Arbery, and in demand of equitable treatment of all persons by law enforcement, the live music performance by Kevin Blagg (Cellophane Garden) and Sam King (Untight) scheduled for June 6, 2020 at Mount Sequoyah is postponed to a later date, to be announced.”

Trillium Salon Series will host a drive-in concert on Mount Sequoyah next month.

The event will features performances by local avant-garde musicians Kevin Blagg (Cellophane Garden) and Sam King (Untight), and will take place at 8 p.m. on Saturday, June 6.

The event is being described as “an outdoor, socially distance experimental music night.” Masks will be required for attendees at checkin, and for those who partake in the concessions available that evening.

Admission to the event is a $10 suggested donation.
