Walton Arts Center will present a screening of The Adventures of Prince Achmed featuring a live score performed by string quartet Invoke on Feb. 17.

The film is considered the oldest surviving full-length animated film, and tells the story of an adventure-seeking prince “pulled from the famous collection of Middle Eastern folk tales, ‘One Thousand and One Nights.'”

Invoke, the musical group known for its light-hearted approach to music they call “not classical, but not not classical,” will perform along with the screening of the film.

The show is part of Walton Arts Center’s 10×10 Arts Series, featuring tickets for just $10.
