The Kendal Mountain Tour, an event from the organizers of the Kendal Mountain Festival in the UK, is coming to Fayetteville this week.
The tour includes a selection of short adventure documentaries that focus on a range of outdoor experiences, from mountaineering and rock climbing to trail running and wild swimming, all from a British and European perspective.
The films are selected by a team at the Kendal Mountain Festival, which attracts over 20,000 outdoor enthusiasts each year.
The event is set for Thursday, March 2 at the Fayetteville Public Library’s Event Center in downtown Fayetteville. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for vendor experiences, raffle tickets, and drink sales. The show will begin at 7 p.m. and will include a brief intermission.
The Fayetteville tour stop will serve as a fundraiser for Pedal It Forward, a non-profit organization based in Northwest Arkansas that strives to increase access to bicycles in the region. The organization offers free and low-cost bicycles to those in need, with the aim of promoting cycling as a healthy and sustainable mode of transportation.
Tickets are $15 for general admission and can be purchased at Eventbrite.
