Dickson Street businesses plan St. Patrick’s Day Pub Crawl

If you like putting on some green clothing and crawling around with your Irish friends while you sip on green-colored drinks, your lucky day is coming up, Fayetteville. It’s almost St. Patrick’s Day.

As is tradition, several Dickson Street watering holes are teaming up to host a pub crawl to commemorate the occasion next weekend.

The event is set for Friday, March 17, and about a dozen local bars in the Dickson Street area will participate in the crawl this year.

The event will begin at Ryleigh’s, where participants can register for the crawl and pick up their passport the day of the crawl.

From there, crawlers can visit 13 participating watering holes to get their passport stamped and return to Ryleigh’s to trade it in for a commemorative t-shirt.

Participating bars include Kingfish, JJ’s, 21st Amendment, Dickson St. Pub, Bugsy’s, and others.

The fee to participate is $25, and that includes the passport and the t-shirt.

According to organizers, the St. Patrick’s Day Pub Crawl is the longest running annual pub crawl on Dickson Street.
