(Staff photo)A pizza restaurant on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in Fayetteville has closed its doors.
A paper sign appeared on the door recently indicating the Pieology restaurant formerly located at 1777 M.L.K. Jr Blvd. had closed permanently.

Since then, signs and equipment have been were removed from the building, and there’s a fresh for lease sign out front.
The restaurant originally opened at the location in 2016, and focused on build-your-own pizzas that are quickly cooked in a high-temperature oven.
The chain still operates more than 100 restaurants around the country, mostly located on the east and west coasts.
