Southwest corner of Concord Street and Pleasant Grove Road in Lowell (Google Maps)Costco has submitted plans for its first location in Northwest Arkansas.
The warehouse store chain plans to open in Lowell at the southwest corner of Concord Street and Pleasant Grove Road, the Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette first reported.

Plans for the address are listed on the city’s agenda for the Board of Zoning Adjustment meeting scheduled for 6 p.m. Monday, May 15. The newspaper confirmed with Lowell Mayor Chris Moore that the plans are for a Costco store.
The location is less than a mile east of the Interstate 49 exit at Pleasant Grove Road, which is about 15 miles north of Fayetteville.
It would be the state’s second Costco location. The company opened a store in Little Rock in 2021.
