( Staff photo)It looks like pizza will continue to be served at the building located at 1200 N. Garland Ave. in Fayetteville.
A new restaurant called Waystone Pizza is currently in the works in the space, formerly home to Mojo’s Pints & Pies.
The restaurant is the creation of locals Brian and Nicole Duncan, who are currently working on sprucing up the restaurant to reopen soon.
“We are currently in the process of renovating and re-decorating the entire building with new wallpaper, fresh paint, custom installments behind the bar, updated kitchen appliances, outdoor patio improvements, and a modernized atmosphere,” the Duncans said in an email to the Flyer.
The restaurant will serve specialty pizzas, craft cocktails, salads, and sandwiches.
Music and other events will continue at the space as well, the owners said.
“We are excited to open our doors to live music, drag bingo, trivia events and more,” according to the company’s website.
If all goes well, the plan is to be up and running sometime sometime before the end of June.
