The organization is planning a series called “Summer in the City” including events such as water-themed Splash Bash, a lawn games event called Backyard Throwdown, and camping-themed Community Campout.

Splash Bash – July 8, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
All ages, $10 per person, includes day pass to pools
More info: Beat the heat with outdoor water-fun and activities and weekend access to The Jones Center pools! At Splash Bash, all ages will have fun in the sun with water balloons, a dunk tank, inflatables, a Capture the Flag competition, a giant slip-n-slide, music, dancing and more. Bring your swimsuit and join the fun!
Backyard Throwdown – Aug. 5
Kids/Family Tournament: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. / Adults-only Tournament: 6-9 p.m. / $25 per team
Kids/Family Tournament: all ages / Adult Tournament: 18 and older
More info: Join us in our “backyard” for everyone’s favorite lawn games, tournament-style! Featuring both kids/family and adults-only tournaments, the Backyard Throwdown includes matchups in cornhole, ladder toss, horseshoes, giant water pong and Kan Jam, with other fun games available for casual play.
Community Campout – Aug. 25-26
$50/person; $150 for a group of 4; $10 per each additional person; Tent rentals: $10/tent
All ages, children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
More info: Bring the family for an outdoor adventure at our first-ever Community Campout! This full night of fun includes campfire cooking, smores, stories around the campfire, outdoor games, live music and more. Don’t know the first thing about camping? No problem! Our staff will be on hand to make this experience fun and easy! Located on The Jones Center campus, our campsite will be safe and secure, perfect for families with young children.
