Arkansauce to play Gulley Park concert series Thursday

( Arkansauce)

Local band Arkansauce will play a free show in Fayetteville this week.

The local progressive bluegrass group will perform as part of this summer’s concert series at Gulley Park on Thursday, June 22

The appearance is a stop on the band’s summer tour that will take them around the country, from Colorado, New Orleans, North Carolina, and several stops in between.

The band is touring to promote their new album Ok to Wonder, released earlier this year.

For those unfamiliar, the concert series is organized by the city’s Parks & Recreation Department, and features free outdoor live music with plenty of room for picnic blankets and lawn chairs throughout the fields surrounding the gazebo stage at Gulley Park in east Fayetteville.

The music starts at 7 p.m., and the concerts are free and open to the public. Coolers are welcome for those who’d like to pack snacks or dinner, but food vendors are also usually set up around the park.

The full lineup is below. For a bit more information about the event, visit www.fayetteville-ar.gov/concerts.
