Venue officials this week announced that rapper Kevin Gates is coming to town for a show on Thursday, Dec. 7.
The show is part of a 30-date tour titled ‘Only the Generals’ that will be hosted by DJ Chose and will also feature rapper BigXthaPug on select dates, including the Fayetteville show.
Over his 15-year career, the Baton rouge, LA native’s music has received over 6 billion streams and dozens of multiplatinum, platinum, and gold certifications. His 2013 song “Thinking With My Dick” reached the Top 100 last year when the track became the No. 1 overall sound on TikTok.
It’s another big hip-hop show for JJ’s, that has also hosted performances by legends Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg, Nelly, and others.
Artist presale tickets to the show go on sale at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 27. After that, tickets will be available to the public at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 30 at kvngates.com.
